MDRT Special Event: Generating quality introductions from centers of influence

Date: June 22, 2020

Time: 01:00PM - 02:00PM

You must be registered to participate!

Join longtime MDRT members Paresh B. Shah, CFP, and Aurora L. Tancock, FLMI, CFP, as they discuss strategies for connecting with centers of influence in order to create an increasing flow of quality introductions. Building relationships with centers of influence is an important part of growing your practice, but there’s no single way to do it, as evidenced by Shah and Tancock’s distinct experiences.

Shah will share his own story of working with centers of influence, including why making those connections has been so important to his practice. He will also explore ways to get introductions to these essential figures, as well as how to build and maintain relationships that result in introductions to prospects.

Tancock will discuss what the term “centers of influence” actually means, beyond just lawyers and accountants. She will also share how she has built relationships with centers of influence that have helped her grow her firm into a referral-based practice, demonstrating why centers of influence are so crucial to growing a financial practice.

The discussion will be moderated by 40-year MDRT member and United States Community Leader R.J. Kelly, RICP, MSFS. There will be time for a live Q&A session after the presentation.
